Look at your own schedule alongside our yoga schedule. Find classes that fit your needs and fit into your lifestyle. Enter these classes into your calendar. Resist scheduling anything else during these times. (See our beginner schedule suggestions below).
Choose an area in your home that you will dedicate as your practice space. You don’t need much. Just the area of your yoga mat and some margin for your arms to open to the sides. Tidy up and clean the area, maybe even burn sage to clear negative or old energy.
Gather items that invoke peace, love, and inspiration. Place them on a small table or simply on the ground. Some examples are: items represent the natural elements, photos of ancestors or loved ones, sentimental artifacts from important life events, crystals… it is personal and completely up to you!
What can you do to get into the mindset of dropping into your practice? Some suggestions are: tidying up your space so that at least your immediate area is clear, burning sage to clear the day thus far, choosing an essential oil that matches/uplifts your mood to apply or to diffuse, and/or simply washing your hands and brushing your teeth.
